Blake and Murphy Sears in the broadcast booth at Memorial Stadium. Murphy was selected as the Bank of the West Sports Kid. She won 4 tickets to the Husker vs. Iowa State game and was given the chance of a lifetime to announce the kickoff at the game. In addition she also received an autographed football from the Husker Sports Network crew, a $25.00 gift card to the UNL bookstore and a $1,000.00 cash donation to be used towards savings bonds for college. Murphy is the daughter of Travis and Jackie (Laible) Sears and the granddaughter of Leo Laible of O’Neill.
