OUR WEEKLY WINNERS

Week One --  It was a close one.  No one picked at the games correctly but six people only missed one game.  Those six were Lucas Negus of Tilden, Bob Willits of Orchard, Ms. Barbara Theis of Creighton, Matthew Melcher of Page, Terry Laible of O'Neill and Kristi Schutt of Orchard.  The Nebraska score determined our winner and Matthew Melcher had Nebraska beating Florida Atlantic 42-to-10.  Way to go Matthew!

Week Two -- It was another close one.  No one picked all the games correctly, however only two people missed one game.  They were Kim Alberts, Butte and Bill Eby, O'Neill.  Once again the Nebraska score came in to play and Bill Eby only missed by 5 points having the Huskers beating Arkansas State 42 to 10. Congratulations Bill!

Week Three -- Week number three of the KBRX Football Contest had just two people missing only one game each.  They were Jason Borg of Stuart and Todd Thomson of Lynch.  Borg had Nebraska 38, Virginia Tech 14 missing by 25 points.  Meanwhile Thompson had Nebraska 30 and Virginia Tech 24 missing by a total of 23.  That mean's Thompson is $100 richer!!

Week Four --  The past three weeks we have gone to the tie breaker to pick a winner.  Week four, Rod Eisenhauser of Bloomfield said "enough is enough."  He picked every high school game right this week and is the only one to do so for the 2009 season.  Enjoy the Bennie Rod!!!

Week Five --  Week five was the week of five as five different people missed one game each.  Jodie Young of Chambers, Kaye Coburn and Joel Colburn both of Atkinson, Taylor Pokorny of Clearwater and Jim Borg of Stuart were all in the "missed one" column.  So we go to the tie breaker and Jim Borg of Stuart had Crofton 35, O'Neill 12.  That means he had the Crofton score perfect and missed O'Neill by just five points so way to go Jim.  You've just one $100 from KBRX!!!!

Week Six -- It was just one miss and $100 for John Kiley of Orchard for Week Six!! He missed just one high school game and takes the cash!  Now his buddies call him "Cashin' Kiley."

Week Seven --  14 people missed just one game on the contest card this week but two others had the card perfect.  Picking all the games correctly was Andrea Connot of Stuart and Patty Stoltz of Elgin.  Connot had Nebraska 42, Texas Tech 35 missing by 36 points while Stoltz had Nebraska 31, Texas Tech 21 missing by 31 points.  Congrulations Patty!!  You just won $100!!!!
