During the period February 1, 2009 through January 31, 2010, stations KBRX AM-FM had two full-time hires, due to office staff member returning to school and an added sales position.

35 applications were received. Applicants were interviewed and were informed what the job required. Not all applicants were interested after hearing the duties. The applicants were then reduced to 6 persons who were interviewed. Employed to fill the Office Position was Melanie Maloun. To fill the Sale Position was Megan Fales.

KBRX AM-FM provides an internship in cooperation with the Nebraska Broadcasters Association. Receiving the two scholarships were Kelley Anne Kathleen and Abigall Schmid.

KBRX AM-FM also cooperates with the Rotary Shadowing Program for High School students.

KBRX AM-FM also broadcasts 2 announcements weekly asking for applications of persons interested in a radio career.

Boy Scout Week, February 7, 2009, Boy Scouts wrote and produced their own commercials.

8 area High Schools do a weekly newscast which is written and produced by the students on the air.
