O’Neill Public School FFA Week Activities
All week long, the chapter will be hosting a “battle of the advisement groups” challenge where students will get the chance to participate in Ag-related activities throughout the week during advisement period. Here are the activities and dress up days that will go along with that:
Monday-“Hat Day”-Pay $1.00 for an FFA sticker and you get to wear your hat all day. Advisement battle: “hammer and nails challenge”-see how many nails you can accurately hammer into a piece of wood on one minute. Also: Chapter Supporter appreciation lunch in the Ag room at 11:45–ANYONE who has ever contributed to the chapter in any way is invited.
Tuesday-Cowboy/rodeo gear dress up day. Advisement challenge: country song karaoke video challenge
Wednesday– Official FFA Dress/Blue and Gold Day. Nebraska State FFA Officer Luke Krabel will be visiting each Ag class as well as all 7th grade students. Advisement challenge: chicken poop bingo. The fate of the winning advisement groups for Wednesday is dependent upon where the chicken chooses to “relieve” itself.
Thursday: Farmer/Farm animal dress up day. Advisement challenge: agriculture scavenger hunt.
Friday: “Flannel Friday”-advisement challenge championship: “Ag Olympics”—top 4 advisement teams will have to show us what they got as they attempt obstacles such as stick horse barrel racing, carrying square bales, hammering in fencing staples, and more! Champion advisement group will receive free donuts during their advisement period. Losing teams will be subject to trying agricultural by-products that we all wish didn’t exist, such as pickled pig’s feet or pickled eggs.

WEST HOLT “FFA WEEK” ACTIVITIES
Monday – Corn count challenge: Guess the number of kernels of corn for a prize. Jar will be in the lunch room.
Tuesday – FFA member breakfast served by FFA Dads
Wednesday – FFA Coloring Contest – Prizes for K-12 and Teachers!
Thursday – Open House and Luncheon. All community members welcome. Serving 11-2 in the WH Ag Shop.
Thursday – WH FFA Agriscience Fair. Freshmen will display agriscience research project in shop during the open house.
Friday – Wear your FFA t-shirt to school.

Stuart “FFA WEEK” ACTIVITIES
Monday: Coloring Contests and Pennies for Patients activities begin. FFA Treats provided by the Stuart FFA Boosters.
Tuesday: FFA Officers visiting KBRX Radio. The Agribusiness Class will be assisting with Bingo at the Parkside Manor. FFA Treats provided by the Stuart FFA Boosters.
Wednesday: Teacher Appreciation Day. FFA Treats provided by the Stuart FFA Boosters.
Thursday: FFA Member Appreciation Breakfast sponsored by the Stuart FFA Boosters. State FFA Officer Luke Krabel, from Adams Central will be visiting the Ag classroom throughout the day. FFA Treats provided by the Stuart FFA Advisors.
Friday: 212/360 Conference. FFA Treats provided by Stuart FFA Advisors.
National FFA Dress Up Days:

ROCK COUNTY “FFA WEEK” ACTIVITIES
Monday is the official dress day – we will take our group photo on that day and I can share it with you then.
Tuesday is Blue and Gold Day. Members will be serving breakfast to the teachers and staff @ 7:30 a.m.
Wednesday is dress like a cowboy/cowgirl. We will be going to the grade school to do a safety/advocacy program.
Thursday is FFA merchandise day – wear your favorite FFA gear.
Friday is Chapter T-shirt day and we will be hosting ag olympics in the afternoon.
All week students will be participating in a goose chase.
